Foundation Course: "I BELIEVE" THEOLOGY COURSE Lecturers: Pauline Simonsen & Dave Belesky 8 Week Course on Thursday mornings 9.30am - 12.30pm Dates: Aug 1, 2024 – Sep 19, 2024 Cost: $350 Enrol Here: https://www.emmaus.net.nz/enrol-now This course introduces the main areas of Christian theology - what we understand about God and His ways with humanity - and includes a brief discussion of theological method (how we do theology). Using the Apostles Creed, the course will introduce the theology of God, Christology, theology of the Holy Spirit (pneumatology), theology of the church (ecclesiology), and theology of salvation (soteriology) and the end times (eschatology). |

THE SEND | Palmy Event
The Send will be holding an event at Crossroads church as part of their nationwide tour for people to worship, pray, and be encouraged into the Great Commission. All ages, churches, and denominations are welcome. The Send is an evangelistic movement which is focused on seeing Christians activated into their missional calling. This will be done through a series of gatherings and a follow up system that partners with local churches and outreach ministries. The Send will be holding a stadium event in November at Mystery Creek, and leading up to this event they are also touring the country hosting unified regional events to partner with local churches and ministries. |

Wayne & Libby Huirua are coming to Palmerston North for an awesome workshop for church worship and production teams! With over 30 years of experience and expertise in worship ministry, they have a heart for training and equipping worship teams and leaders in the church around the world. It will be a day full of practical teaching and encouragement for teams to better serve our communities and use the gifts that God has given us. We will start the day with praise and worship and be ministered to by this awesome couple. It will be a practical day with topics including vocal and musician workshopping and arranging. |

PALMY COMBINED YOUTH SERVICE
This is an open invite to your young people and youth leaders to join in with what some groups have begun in Palmerston North. In Term 2 we held our first combined youth service. Almost 300 people from Palmerston North youth communities gathered to connect together and worship Jesus. On Fri 23rd August we are keen to make it happen again. There will be games, worship, a short message and some time to connect with youth from other groups based on schools that they attend. Our goal is to run one event per term. From the Kendrick Brothers (creators of WAR ROOM, FIREPROOF, & COURAGEOUS) comes another incredible movie called THE FORGE. Screening this week (Thu 29 Aug) at Focal Point Cinema and Event Cinemas in Palmerston North. Storyline: Isaiah Wright has some growing up to do. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life.
