Our Church is having a garage sale on November 2nd to raise money for making Christmas boxes to send to missionaries we support. These would then be distributed among the communities our missionaries are living in.

Often trauma and adversity changes us. That change can lead to growth, transformation, and a strength we never knew possible. OR unhealed, unresolved trauma can have tangible, devastating effects that last a lifetime. Seminar open to everyone but content not suitable for children.

The pain of living in a broken world shows itself in unexpected and sad ways. Dr Kirsty Moore comes to equip us in responding to NSSI, and gives us tools to help us create a pathway to healing. This workshop is important for anyone engaged in youth ministry or supporting those who are self harming or are suicidal.

They are currently based in Canada, serving churches in other nations via the internet, but have spent time living and ministering in a number of countries, including New Zealand. Mark is the author of two books.

Upcoming Choral Concert by Palmerston North Choral Society, Saturday 30 November, 7.30pm, at Pathways (St Andrews) Church Street, Palmerston North.

Alison Stewart directs Songs for a Kiwi Christmas - a presentation of joyous seasonal choral music including NZ David Hamilton's "Christmas Crackers" in which Caroline Hickman sings the soprano solos, and John Rutter's fun composition "Brother Heinrich's Christmas". Piano Accompaniments by Myra Smith and Guy Donaldson.
