LIGHT PARTY 2026 | 31st October
To the Church of Palmerston North,
Light Party 2026 is just around the corner!
Light Party has been running for 8 years and is becoming a growing and much anticipated free, family-friendly community event. This year it is on Halloween: Saturday, 31st October, 2026.
The Light Party vision is to host an awesome light- and life-filled alternative to Halloween celebrations and to share the light of Christ and the Gospel in Palmerston North.
This is an amazing opportunity for the Church of Palmerston North to put on an event for our city.
Our heart is for this event to be run by the city-wide church of Palmy - a great event put on by Christians for the whole community to enjoy.
We had people volunteer from across approximately 10 different churches in the city last year which was fantastic.
So, would you consider partnering with us?
We need your help! Volunteers, big and small, for a short time or a long time...there is a job for everyone.

As usual, we are always looking for volunteers, promotion and (most of all) prayer.
If you are keen to get your church involved in a certain area eg helping decorate the Light Train, running the bouncy castles, artists/performing etc, let us know. Or, if you just want to ask more questions and see how you might be able to help or support us, please feel free to get in touch!
