"Creator or Coincidence?" Talk and Q&A
1pm at Aston 1 Lecture Theatre, Science Tower B, Massey University, Palmy Why does our universe appear so finely tuned for the existence of life? Does the science of our universe point to a Creator? Dr Luke A. Barnes is a senior lecturer in Physics at Western Sydney University, with a Ph.D in Astronomy from the University of Cambridge. The focus of his research has been the cosmic evolution of matter, galaxy formation, and the fine tuning of the universe for life. Good Friday Prilgrimage 2024
12pm-3pm approx in Palmy Join Christians from many different churches in Palmy and walk the journey of the cross this Easter. Remembering Jesus Christ dying for us all. Everyone welcome. 6 stops for brief reflections. Join the walk anywhere along the route in the central city area. Starts 12 noon in Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (197 Broadway Ave). Followed by The Salvation Army church (431 Church St), Pathways at St Andrew’s (388 Church St), centre of The Square/Te Marae o Hine, Central Baptist (190 Church St), ending approx 3pm at Gateways (174 Church St) with drinks and hot cross buns.
